Taylor Swift’s Cats Could Be Ruining Her Love Life

There's a reason the Calvin Harris "Feel So Close" lyrics don’t mention anything about bringing a cat along for a cuddle: The musician is apparently majorly allergic. And, thus, an aversion to kitties could end up putting a cramp in his relationship with alleged lady friend Taylor Swift. As pretty much everyone on the planet knows, Swift is the cat-mom to two adorable fuzzballs, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson. It seems the star is inseparable from her feline friends — they accompany Swift out and about in New York City, and Olivia Benson even appeared in a Diet Coke commercial alongside the "Style" singer. According to a source, the kitties curl up in Swift's bed at night, too. For Harris, that (fur) is just not going to fly. A source said that when the Scottish performer stayed over at Swift's Los Angeles abode recently, he was up all night blowing his nose and complaining he couldn't breathe. Harris reportedly left early the next day and doesn't want to go back, preferring instead to meet up with Swift at his home or hotels — basically anywhere her cats' dander is not. Our take? Allergies can be a major downer, but seriously dude: Take a Claritin or pop some bee pollen capsules. Swift seems pretty dedicated to staying a cat lady, so Meredith and Olivia are just part of the package.
