Typically, hearing that Kim Kardashian is returning to her roots means a trip to the salon is involved. This time, though, the reality star really is returning to her roots. It's time for a "journey of lifetime" to Armenia.
Why Armenia? Kardashian is of Armenian descent on her late father, Robert Kardashian's, side. As such, she and husband Kanye West are taking daughter North, sister Khloé, and some cousins to the Eurasian country to learn more about her heritage. Dining on "yummy food" and taking selfies will also be worked into the itinerary.
Sky News reports that Kim met with Armenian politician Hovik Abrahamyan. The family, who have rented two floors in a luxury Yerevan hotel, are reportedly working on a documentary about the Armenian genocide. April 24 will mark the centenary of the genocide.
