In case you had any lingering doubts, Hilary Duff is way past the Lizzie McGuire stage. Mere days after posting a bikini selfie, the former Disney star took to Instagram again to reveal another part of her body — turquoise blue hair. Her mane appeared to be her natural hue on top while fading into sea blue toward the tips.
Commenters on Instagram immediately began drawing an obvious comparison — to Kylie Jenner. It's true, the youngest Jenner gal can be credited with popularizing the blue ombré 'do, even if she didn't have it first (and even though her hair has been black as of late). At first glance, Hilary does look a bit Jenner-esque in this snap. But, was Kylie her style inspo? And, does it even matter?
In any case, it's cool to see Hilary having fun with her look. It's been quite a month for her, what with her Cosmo cover and all. Could her blue hair be the next step in the epic comeback of Hilary Duff? A turquoise-ombré phoenix rising from the ashes sounds pretty rad to us.
