Biddy The Hedgehog Has Died

Biddy, the adorably cute traveling hedgehog, has passed away. The Instagram famous pet's owners updated his followers of the news Friday, March 6. He was four years old.  "This is a very difficult post to type and it breaks our hearts," they announced on Instagram. "Our spiky little guy passed away on Sunday, March 1st." They believe some sort of cancer was the cause of his death.  The itty bitty lil' dude became famous on the photo sharing platform for his fantastic adventures all across America. He traversed woodlands, seascapes, and deserts. Sometimes he even sported a chapeau or ladybug costume — all with a tiny smile.  "We want to thank all of you for following Biddy and his adventures," his owners continued. "To know that Biddy's photos could bring happiness, laughter and possibly inspire others is breathtaking." Indeed, it is. Biddy will be greatly missed.
