Rihanna, noted musical artist and omniscient force of benevolent energy, knows this and put it into action tonight at the 2015 Grammy Awards. As one Twitter observer astutely noted in this screenshot from CBS the International Space Station, her gown and general presence was emanating so much ethereal, heavenly light, that it dominated the entire room.

Oddly enough, we had actually bet that Zooey Deschanel would sport this haute couture Giambattista Valli gown, but we can't imagine anyone other than the world's baddest gal doing justice to this uniquely feminine, yet somehow badass, piece. And, to anyone who is complaining this dress looks like a cake, well, we all know how Rihanna feels about that particular confection.
