Criminal Investigation Launched in Bobbi Kristina Case

Police have launched a criminal investigation into Bobbi Kristina Brown's case, TMZ reports this morning. Her husband Nick Gordon is the focus of the investigation after injuries were found on Brown's body, according to the website. The daughter of the late Whitney Houston was found unresponsive in a bathtub last week at her Roswell, Georgia home. Shortly after, her family released a statement saying that the 21-year-old is "fighting for her life." She is still in a coma, CBS News reported. Brown is the only daughter of Houston and Bobby Brown. Police are reportedly looking at a possible altercation that may have happened about an hour before Brown was found in the tub, according to the TMZ report. Pal Max Lomas, who discovered Brown in the tub, was reportedly at her home that day with Gordon. Lomas reportedly found Brown after letting a cable guy in, and giving him access to the bedroom. Then he screamed for Gordon, who administered CPR, according to TMZ. Lomas apparently thinks Gordon had a role in what happened to his young wife. He "allegedly cleaned up the home and removed blood stains," according to TMZ, but it's not clear what he is referring to. Sources also told TMZ that there is a history of violence between Gordon and Brown.
