Happy birthday, Rihanna! Our Lady of the Diamonds turns 27 today, and we can only assume that will include toddler kisses, cake, and impromptu dance parties.

Unfortunately, the November 25 release date that was on an old leaked track list for Rihanna's eighth studio album was wrong. A lot of what was printed on that document was wrong: the title, the collaborations... Oh well. Don't trust everything you read on the Internet, right?

The album hasn't arrived yet, but "FourFiveSeconds" has. Praise Rih! It has been far too long (okay, like, a year) since the angelic voice of pop's resident Bad Gal has graced our playlists with new tunes.

Her rihturn is a welcome one, and though her provocative tendencies haven't been forgotten, her vocabulary (vocabularih?) might have been. Don't fret, though. Rihanna's unique and sometimes incoherent manipulation of the English language has been compiled into a tiny field guide to keep on-hand for when you're scrolling through her Instagram or Twitter feeds, searching for clues about her new album or next single.
