Red Velvet Oreos Are Here, Just In Time for V-Day

Our favorite thing about Valentine's Day is neither the flowers nor the grand, romantic gestures. We're all about the sweets — everything from chocolate lava cakes to heart-shaped, gaily-iced cookies. Single or not (or somewhere in between), a sugar-frenzied holiday is one we can get behind for at least one day. And now, Oreos — our beloved childhood treat — have joined the game, with a new red velvet iteration dropping February 2. Visually mimicking the eponymous cake, this Oreo features a layer of cream-cheese filling  sandwiched between chocolate-flavored, crimson cookie wafers. The tasting panel over at People has ruled that these don't hit your palate that differently from their traditional brethren. But, the presentation does make for a good V-day favor for your coworkers. Our only question: Will dunking these bad boys in milk turn it red? There's only one way to find out.
