Dog lovers like to think that our canine pals need our constant love and affection in order to survive. Honestly, though? Some dogs just don't give a damn. One day, a black Lab named Eclipse got tired of waiting for her owner, Jeff Young, to finish smoking his cigarette at the bus stop. So, she took matters into her own paws. As Young put it, "We get separated. She gets on the bus without me, and I catch up with her at the dog park." You know, like you do.
This has become a regular thing for Eclipse and Jeff, who sometimes ride the bus together, and sometimes separately. Bus riders on the local D line in Belltown seem pleased to see Eclipse — or at least they're momentarily weirded out enough to act like it's totally normal to see a dog riding the bus by herself.

According to Young, "She's been urbanized, totally. She's a bus-riding, sidewalk-walking dog."
Look, we know that Seattle is super laid-back. There's too much rain to really get excited about anything, you can get high when the wind blows the right way, plus you're basically in Canada, so you might as well be chill, eh?
