Taylor Swift Doesn’t Like Running Into Her Ex, Either

Running into your ex is zero fun, even if you are Taylor Swift, a megastar for whom life seems to be all perfectly chilled Diet Cokes, hilarious hats, and great post-gym looks. Because, then your ex is Jake Gyllenhaal.

The former cute couple were at the same star-studded Golden Globes after-party on Sunday, and Jake hit the dance floor shortly after midnight.

Taylor was seen around 2 a.m. and, according to an eyewitness who spoke to Us Weekly, "she wasn't dancing." She was grabbing her friend and saying, "We have to go. We have to go." Can't say that doesn't sound like every encounter of the ex kind we've ever had.

Taylor, according to the magazine, ditched the dance floor with her clique, which included Cara Delevingne. "Cara's arm was around Taylor," the witness (not not Jake Gyllenhaal) added. Good on you, Cara, good on you. It seems Taylor was able to avoid Jake entirely.

The two dated for two months in 2011, and he took her to Thanksgiving at his sister Maggie's home. The couple broke up abruptly over the holidays. (Us Weekly)
