Lena Dunham looked lovely in her bright red Zac Posen gown at tonight's Golden Globes. But, Lena's all too aware of how a wardrobe malfunction can derail an otherwise-celebratory night — just ask Anne Hathaway. So, Lena made damn sure that nip-slippage was not a possibility for her tonight via what would appear to be a pair of silicone nipple covers.
The (technically NSFW) pic below was posted to Girls producer Jenni Konner's Instagram earlier tonight. In it, Dunham shows off the accessories that prevent her — and presumably many other actresses we'll see on the red carpet tonight — from proving that they are human when, say, it gets cold, or they see Eddie Redmayne across the room. Kind of weird that a woman needs to give herself nipple-less cyborg boobs to be red carpet-ready, but hey, whatever keeps those haters away.
