Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are usually a sure-fire hit for a good joke. Under their Golden Globes reign, no one is safe. But, during a joke about The Interview, things got a bit awkward. The comedy duo set up a joke about a new Hollywood Foreign Press correspondent from North Korea. This corespondent was reportedly with a publication called Movies Wow. Cho's character was in want of a selfie with Meryl Streep.
But, the joke just wasn't landing. That's when Benedict Cumberbatch did what he was born to do: make us love him. The actor, sensing that the situation perhaps needed a lighter ending, jumped up from his table to photobomb Streep and Cho. Nice save, Cumberbatch.
