Rihanna and Instagram have had a complicated relationship. First, she deleted her account earlier this year in protest over the site's strict regulations. (Read: Men can show their nipples, but women can't.) Now, she's using the photo-sharing app to give us a sample of what appears to be her new song.
Ri posted the short clip to her account around 3 p.m. today. It's mostly all-black everything, except for a flash of what looks like a sneaker in the lower left corner. The sound bite is Rihanna singing.
When there's a new song, there's a new album. When exactly is it coming? Per Ri's latest lyrics, "Ain't none of this promised. Ain't none of this certain." Ahead, the Instagram bound to make you freak out.
