Annnddd...it's November! The first week of a new month is here and it's filled with a fantastically wide range of must-do activities. From the Thakoon sample sale and delicious Spanish meals to hilarious performances and book fairs, the next few days will keep you on your toes one moment and rolling over laughing the next.

Wear Thakoon.
One of MObama's favorite labels, Thakoon, will host a sample sale this week with pre-fall and fall 2014 items up to 80% off. Both Thakoon and Thakoon Addition will be available, so you know there will be lots to love.

Taste Madrid.
CITY GRIT hosts some of Madrid's top culinary talent for two delicious meals taking place this week. On Tuesday night, chefs Javier Goya, Javier Mayor, and David Alfonso — the trio behind TriCiclo — will bring some of their gastronomic successes stateside. On Saturday, Estanis Carenzo hosts a lunch showcasing why he's been called a "genius of flavor."

Peek inside the minds of comedians.
"HA!" is a musical about the world of stand-up comedy. The show premiered this past summer and was invited to showcase at the New York Comedy Festival, which takes place from Wednesday, November 5 to Sunday, November 9.

Just in time for rainy season, Hunter Original opens a shop-in-shop at Urban Outfitters Herald Square. To kick things off, Natalie Suarez will be on-site this afternoon to offer styling tips on how to make wet-weather outfits shine. Stop by for the clothes. Stay for the live watercolor portraits, Tattly temporary tattoos, and music by DJs Jordan Adoni and Mike Bazzini.

Dress up your coffee table.
The 2014 Editions/Artists' Book Fair returns this week with more than 45 international vendors and exhibitors. This free event — curated by Faye Hirsch and presented in partnership with MoMa, Christie's Education New York, and the Museum of Arts and Design — offers the opportunity to own signed works from artists including William Kentridge, Jeff Koons, Kiki Smith, and Louise Bourgeois.
