Smith has become a teenager in the four years since "Whip My Hair" exploded on the scene. (She turns 14 today, October 31.) She's managed to become a style icon in her own right, too. Her new track, "Female Energy," is dripping in Erykah Badu-cool. It's soul, it's funk, it's chill. It's a refreshing sound that soothes rather than turns up. Smith gets it.
