Why Joshua Jackson Won’t Marry Diane Kruger

We know how Diane Kruger feels about marriage. In June, she told Metro she's simply too practical to think about it. "'I'm not married and don't intend to be, and I never believed in love at first sight, but I do believe opposites attract," she told the newspaper.
Well, if by "opposites" she means "guys who think the exact same way," then she's totally right. As it turns out, Joshua Jackson, her boyfriend of eight years, also doesn't feel the obligation to get hitched. In an interview with Glamour, Jackson told a reporter, "I can tell you why we're not married: We're not religious. I don't feel any more or less committed to Diane for not having stood in front of a priest and had a giant party. We're both children of divorce, so it's hard for me to take marriage at face value as the thing that shows you've grown up and are committed to another person." How Pacey is that? He added that nuptials aren't out of the question, though. "It may change at some point. We may get married."
Jackson told Refinery29 in June, "The key to making [relationships] work is to work, it turns out. It's boring, but you've got to work. Hard. It's got to be important to you all the time." It also doesn't hurt if you have an adorable cat named Hobbes. (Glamour)
