Beyoncé Reminds Us Who’s At The Heart Of The Divorce Rumors

As of August 6, 2014, the U.S. leg of Beyoncé and Jay Z's On The Run tour is over. Come mid-September, the couple will perform their final two shows in Paris. From there? Well, divorce — at least according to Page Six, a publication hell-bent on finding "sources close to the couple" willing to divulge any information regarding the "impending split."
Meanwhile, the Knowles-Carter family has remained quiet. The public statements they do release are humanizing enough to shush the buzz, but vague enough to leave room for speculation. Even Bey's "***Flawless Remix feat. Nicki Minaj" — though it did address that elevator incident — contained a few verses that may or may not relate to her marriage. So, those who are intrigued have to turn to Beyoncé's most direct form of communication for clues: social media.
A source close to Page Six, and another blind item, claimed that Bey and Jay's daughter was the only link keeping them together. And, of course any photo the singer shares will be spun by various media outlets as some sort of PR move aimed at keeping their family image fresh.
"Family" is the word that's rarely mentioned in all this gossip. All the buzz has revolved around Beyoncé and Jay Z. I'm no Instagram-prophet, but the images Beyoncé has shared — many presented without caption — are her way of reminding us that when we spread these rumors, we're talking not just about two of the most famous people on the planet, we're talking about a family.
Her latest Insta, taken as Jay Z carries Blue to their plane the day after OTR wrapped, furthers this idea. This tour was a family affair. Bey, herself, wrote it was "the best tour of my life." By monetary standards, it was a triumph. But, the gossip rags claim it was a failed attempt to save a marriage. Until real news breaks (if anything does at all), the best thing to do is believe the pics Beyoncé shares. And, by the looks of it, the family dynamic is a-okay.
