First, Queen Elizabeth II paid a visit to the Iron Throne. Now, her Royal Guards have taken to playing the Game of Thrones theme song outside Buckingham Palace. At this rate, how long before George R.R. Martin gets an honorary knighthood?
A Reddit user posted video footage of the guards breaking it down to the HBO series' theme during the Changing of the Guards last week. The crowd appeared to love it, though it's anyone's guess as to whether or not the Queen herself was amused.
So, are these bad boys taking requests now, or is their repertoire limited to HBO tunes? Maybe a jazzy little Sex and the City homage or "Woke Up This Morning" rendition to shake things up? So long as London doesn't turn into Westeros, it's all good.
