The country legend performed at Glastonbury Festival for the first time. She even wrote a special song for it. Oh, and that song was a rap called "Worthy Farm Mud."
Parton's performance at the Pyramid Stage drew the biggest crowd so far at the music festival. Her band featured a special guest, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora. But, most remarkable was her new song. "Before I got here they told us that you were famous for the mud," she explained to the crowd. "When we arrived at 5 a.m. this morning, I looked down and saw these people and they were knee deep in the mud, and I thought, 'Well, I'll write a song about it.'" And, here you thought "Jolene" would be the show's biggest crowd-pleaser. (NME)
