Cut to two weeks ago, when the gossip rags started reporting that the two were full-on dating. Neither of the stars' publicists commented on the matter, but last night Bullock finally broke her silence. Fittingly, it was hilarious.
"You guys are a little behind," she told Entertainment Tonight. "We've since married and it started breaking apart, so we separated. We filed for divorce, and I hope everyone can respect our privacy. But, we're going to remain friends and share responsibility of the farm animals we've taken on, because you just can't abandon the animals."
So, there you have it: no answer on whether or not the celebs are really together, but proof that Bullock is still killing it in the jokes department. She could have deflected the question because the rumor is actually true or because she finds it so outlandish — or just because she's a riot. Regardless, props to you, Sandy B. (People)
