The Fault In Our Stars grossed over $48 million at the box office this weekend, which means a lot of people went to see it — including the film's stars Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort. The pair attended a showing of their own movie, though their tactics were quite divergent.
Woodley is fairly silent on social media, and she went to the theater in disguise, wearing a long, curly wig — quite different her usual cute pixie cut. On the other hand, Elgort pretty much blew up whatever details he could about this "secret" outing. First, he posted a now-deleted Instagram of the two in their seats. "Shai's amazing disguise to go see #tfios last night without causing a scene!" he captioned the photo. Then, he tweeted "Shai is bringing her own popcorn to #tfios hahahaha. So bootleg." Still, it appears the celebrity duo went unrecognized. Well played, Woodley, well played. (Daily Mail)
