Papertwin
“Arco”
Brooklyn’s Papertwin certainly knows how to make dreamy, dark synthpop reminiscent of The Cure. With nostalgic yet spacey rhythms, it's a trippy teaser of the band’s debut LP, Vox Humana, out later this month.



Jenny Lewis
“Just One of the Guys”
The debut single from The Voyager — Lewis' first solo record in six years — finds the singer-songwriter in a contemplative state, reflecting on life, growing up and older, with the help of producer Beck. It’s a summer jam that can’t be missed off of one of our most anticipated albums of the year.



Panama Wedding
“Uma”
The long-awaited Panama Wedding EP Parallel Play has finally arrived, and it's filled with a variety of catchy dance-pop jams including “Uma” — a lovelorn track that can’t easily be forgotten (especially with its echoed vocals). The band’s teamed up with Andrew Maury (RAC, Ra Ra Riot, High Highs) for the album, and the result is good electro vibes all around.



Monarchy
“Living Without You”
Monarchy’s latest single mixes heartbreak with melancholic dance music — and does it well. The duo navigates the all-encompassing world of a destructive relationship with a tune that will put you into a trance.



Anthony D’Amato
“Was A Time”
Anthony D’Amato’s debut single from his upcoming album, The Shipwreck From The Shore (due this fall), is a captivating and catchy lover’s lament full of heartbreak metaphors and hope. The folk track (recorded with help from members of Bon Iver and Megafaun) is somewhat uplifting, though lyrically rooted in melancholy — something that works beautifully (and needs to be played on repeat).
