Jaden Smith, Willow Smith, Kylie Jenner, and Moisés Arias have formed a group they call "The Orgonite Society." Radar, however, calls it a cult.
Arias has reportedly introduced the youngins to the work of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, a controversial spiritual leader also known as Osho. He was often called "the sex guru" in the United States, thanks to his emphasis on sexual liberation.
Osho was also a critic of Mahatma Gandhi and said that "homosexuals, because they were perverted, created the disease AIDS." In 1984, followers of his group committed a bioterror attack on 751 individuals in Oregon, which led to his commune's disbandment.
But, back to the kids: In addition to investigating the Osho's philosophy, they've also gotten into crafting. Gawker reports that the foursome has been making what they call "orgonite" pyramids with muffin tins. They even have an Instagram page called "The Orgonite Society," which hopes to "Balance Gaia's Energies." (Capitalization surely courtesy of Jaden Smith.) It's all apparently loosely tied to the work of psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich and his concept of "orgone," or cosmic-erotic energy.
