Keira Knightley's hair and makeup situation from last night's Begin Again film premiere was a great reminder. It was monochromatic and romantic, featuring soft textures and spring-perfect hues.
The makeup color of the hour for Knightley was a tawny pink, worn on both her lips and her cheeks. With long, lush lashes and a super-brushed-out brow, there's something really earthy about this overall look. Her undone, messy waves contribute to that vibe. It's like she just came in from a frolic with some baby deer in a field of flowers. Because, you know, if anyone's going to do that, it's her.
After seeing this, we're feeling compelled to let our own hair down and get back to a more subdued sort of spring beauty. At least, for today.
