Coco Rocha’s Beauty Philosophy Is Predictably Awesome

When it comes to naming our favorite faces of all time, the quirky fabulousness of supermodel Coco Rocha definitely tops our list. The woman approaches beauty and fashion with a confidence and panache that truly set her apart. And, now, it seems Glamour has taken notice of Rocha's enviable aesthetic, as the publication has enlisted her as the first guest editor for its new beauty site, Lipstick.com.
In an interview with the site, Rocha discusses her beauty philosophy ("Hair and makeup can be creative outlets and give you a sense of confidence. It’s the subtle armor a woman puts on to face each day") and her thoughts on the ways social media has affected how women perceive themselves. "We are our own worst critics and enemies," Rocha says, noting that these social platforms may cause women to body-shame each other — and she unfortunately doesn't see that ending any time soon.

That said, Rocha does admit that "the selfie" may be encouraging women to branch out and try new beauty looks: "You're rarely going to post a selfie in which you put no effort into your hair or makeup. I guess that is forcing some of us to think more carefully about our beauty looks and changing it up." And, change it up Coco does — the supermodel even rocks some green lipstick! (Of course, she's the only person on the planet who looks avant-garde glamorous, rather than insane, in the shade.) Wanna get a glimpse at Rocha's adventurous look?
