For instance, if you get a bad crack in your nail in the middle of the day and can't drop everything to get to the salon (life is #sorude), there's a solution. Manicurist Kait Mosh advises cutting a tea bag or coffee filter to fit the exact shape of your nail. Then, simply apply a base coat, stick your DIY "nail wrap" to the still-wet polish, and follow with two coats of regular nail polish.

While quick fixes for zits are always possible (the right drying lotion can work wonders overnight) skin guru Ling Chan stresses that having consistently good skin is all about prevention — moisturize religiously, and your skin will produce less breakout-causing oil (true story).
