Lana Del Rey Does Brooding Disco In New Track

Though any information regarding whatever Lana Del Rey is cooking up for her forthcoming album, Ultraviolence, has yet to fully surface, a new track has. "Meet Me In The Pale Moonlight" cropped up yesterday, and it showcases a whole new Del Rey. And, by "new" we mean fun.
Gone are the days of "Summertime Sadness" and moody self-reflection. Del Rey's gone full disco with this track. It's one of the most upbeat songs the typically solemn singer has put out. Western strings keep the broodiness we know and love intact, but the bass line hints at what's to come.
Idolator reports that, despite being new material, "Meet Me In The Pale Moonlight" didn't make the final album cut. Unfortunate as that may be, it's a great sign for the quality of what's to come. (Idolator)
