Emma Watson Is A Yoga Teacher Now

With her latest film Noah ruling the box office right now, Emma Watson is hardly someone who needs to be thinking about a career backup plan. Still, that hasn't stopped the 23-year-old actress from becoming a certified yoga teacher. Apparently, girl is all about the namastes.
Watson revealed her secret passion in an interview with Wonderland, in which she discussed her plans to finish her studies at Brown University. "When I finish my degree, I will have a lot more time to pursue other passions, and I want to figure out what those will be," she told the magazine. "I love having something completely unrelated to the film industry. I want to find something that will let me use my brain in another way. I love painting, so maybe I hone in on that and do more art classes? Or maybe something different. I’m a board-two-certified qualified yoga instructor."

In a different interview with Elle Australia, the star also explained that yoga helps center her as she jets between Los Angeles and New York City. "I was like, 'I need to find a way to always feel safe and at home within myself.' Because I can never rely on a physical place." Deep, no?
Well, practicing a warrior pose or two is one way to kill time on a film set. Good on her for expanding her horizons. Just don't expect us to not freak out if we find Hermione teaching our next hatha class. (The Cut)
