Urban Outfitters Opens Concept Store In Brooklyn & It’s Pretty Epic

Well folks, Urban Outfitters' massive Brooklyn concept store has officially landed in Williamsburg, and it's big — like really big. Space Ninety 8, which takes inspiration from Urban's L.A. retail experience, Space 15 Twenty, occupies a spacious four-story warehouse in the heart of the 'Burg. Like its Cali counterpart, the Brooklyn shop will have a marketplace showcasing 40-plus local designers, including Dusen Dusen, Cold Picnic, and more. Aside from the usual trappings of Urban's womenswear, menswear, and home and tech products, Space Ninety 8 will also be home to The Gorbals Restaurant and Bar, complete with rooftop views and outdoor dining. (Ah, so that's why Urban needed a liquor license.) What's more, the lower level of the four-story space will host rotating pop-ups. First up is a collaboration between Brooklyn-based artist Jason Woodside and adidas. It seems the new space has a little something for everyone. And, hey, who can turn down a little boozy shopping?
It's all happening at 98 N. 6th Street (between Berry Street and Wythe Avenue), and we've got your sneak peek right here. Click through to see snaps from the new space, and let us know in the comments if you'll be stopping by this weekend!
