Brittany Murphy's Last Film Is Finally Hitting Theaters

From Marilyn Monroe to Heath Ledger, many actors have starred in films that were released after their untimely deaths. Brittany Murphy, too, has a posthumous movie — and it's now coming out, four years after she died.

It's an indie thriller called Something Wicked, and it's set to be released on April 4. According to E! Online, it'll bypass the typical Hollywood premiere to open in Eugene, Oregon — the town where it was filmed — with more theaters to follow. The movie's producer and screenwriter said in 2011, "There's an important scene where [Murphy's] character is unraveling and she spent a long time getting ready and focused and went for it. Personally, I think it's one of the best scenes of her career." We can't wait to find out if it does indeed live up to that high praise. (E! Online)
