Suki Waterhouse Wears A Trend We Thought We Left In Childhood

Show us a pair of white tights, and we're instantly propelled way back. Namely, to a time when we had to cross the street with a grown-up and flat Mary Janes were our party shoe of choice. Of course, it's only natural that different pieces of clothing instantly suggest a specific period of our lives. So, due to our sartorial association with the aforementioned stockings, we couldn't help but take notice of Suki Waterhouse's ensemble at yesterday's fete for Karl Lagerfeld.

Dressed in a light pastel pink, the model (and girlfriend of Bradley Cooper) paired white tights with open-toe, platform sandals. While some might say it's a faux pas to let your tights show beneath a strappy shoe, we were more intrigued by the shade of her hosiery. In all, we think she looks pretty chic (not childish) in a seamless blend of milky colors. But, on a large scale, do white stockings really have the power to make a comeback?
