Cara Delevingne Landed Her First TV Role

It appears that Cara Delevingne is continuing her quest for world domination. She's taken modeling by storm (brace yourself, Paris Fashion Week!). She's a straight-up Instagram star. And, she's the talk of the town for gossip mags and fashion fiends alike. Alas, there is one genre she has yet to conquer: acting. Until now, that is. Delevingne just booked her first-ever TV role.

She'll star in the drama Timeless, a one-off from the British Playhouse series, as a woman waiting for her fiancé to return from Afghanistan. U.K. mainstay Sylvia Syms will be starring opposite Cara D., so we imagine she'll be get the best advice and training. This role is no blockbuster film, sure, but everybody has to start somewhere, right? We can't wait to see if Cara's spunk translates on film as well as it does in selfies. (Telegraph)
