Sasha Sykes’ Exhibit Reminds Us That Spring Is Almost Here

A snowstorm in March is a bit discouraging. But, there are some signs that warm weather is definitely (probably) coming. If you need a little convincing, though, we recommend checking out artist Sasha Sykes' "Encased" exhibit, presented by Voltz Clarke. Sykes brightens our spirits with her floral-filled artwork. It's a breath of fresh air in the middle of this freezing winter.
Sykes pulls inspiration from her homeland, Ireland, incorporating found materials in her art. The work is on display at MaxMara, and the elegant pieces feel right at home on Madison Avenue. You can check out "Encased" through April 22, but we've got a sneak peek of the exhibit right here. Just click on through for a taste of spring.
When: March 5 through April 22
Where: MaxMara, 813 Madison Avenue (at East 68th Street); 212-879-6100.
