Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Gets Cheeky

Barbie may have landed a spot in the 2014 edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, but, alas, three gorgeous gals edged her out for the all-important 50th anniversary cover shot. The lucky ladies, shown here in all their topless, bum-baring glory? None other than Nina Agdal, Lily Aldridge, and Chrissy Teigen.

The trio made a splash in the Cook Islands for their sexy shoot with photographer James Macari. Teigen — a.k.a. Mrs. John Legend — is quick to point out that the real cover stars are "our butts," and she'll get no argument from us. It's also worth noting that the issue marks Aldridge's first appearance in the magazine. Woop!

Legendary bathing beauties like Kathy Ireland, Tyra Banks, Christie Brinkley, and Heidi Klum also get their moment in the sun. And, it just wouldn't be a Swimsuit Issue without the obligatory Kate Upton cameo.
