Blood Orange: Webster Hall, February 6, $20
With the release of Blood Orange's latest LP, Cupid Deluxe, Dev Hynes morphed from a cult favorite to a rising pop sensation. His show this week at Webster Hall may be one of his biggest NYC outings to date, but Hynes' magnetic presence could (and will) easily command much larger stages in the near future.

Thursday, February 6, 7:00 p.m. Webster Hall, 125 East 11th Street (between 3rd and 4th Avenues); 212-353-1600.

John Talabot (DJ Set), Sh*t Robot (DJ Set), JDH & Dave P: SRB Brooklyn, February 7, $15
Since the release of 2012's excellent ƒIN, Spanish producer John Talabot has quietly become one of most beloved producers in contemporary dance music. Last year, he solidified his credentials with his entry to the long-running DJ Kicks series — one of the best in recent memory. For fans of smart, subtle house there's simply no one doing a better job.
Friday, February 7, 10 p.m. SRB Brooklyn, 177 2nd Avenue (between 13th and 14th Streets), Brooklyn, NY; 718-499-1700.

Marissa Nadler, Amen Dunes, Zachary Cale: Glasslands, February 8, $12
Marissa Nadler's woebegone take on folk has the ability to enrapture listeners. With its windswept sound and evocative lyrics, her new album, July (out Tuesday, February 4), may be her most affecting collection yet. Let the record sink in, and then see her headline Glasslands this Saturday.
Saturday, February 8, 8 p.m. Glasslands, 289 Kent Avenue (between South 1st and South 2nd Streets), Brooklyn; 718-599-1450.
