What's a sequel without the original stars? Well, when it comes to Avatar, looks like we won't have to find out. It's been confirmed that both Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington will be reprising their roles in all three of Avatar's upcoming sequels.

The trio of James Cameron-directed movies will be filmed back-to-back in New Zealand, with the first one expected to be released in December 2016. Cameron is reportedly scripting the second film right now, along with War of the Worlds screenwriter, Josh Friedman. Needless to say, we have a while to wait before we find out what happens to Jake and Neytiri (will they have kids?!), but we're officially excited now that the actors are confirmed. Let the countdown begin. (Deadline)
