MObama's Second Inaugural Dress Heads To The Smithsonian

Photo: Rex USA.The reason we're buzzing about this? The exhibit usually only features dresses worn to first inaugurations. Smithsonian curator Lisa Kathleen Grady told the The Huffington Post: “There's such interest in the dress, I thought maybe it would be interesting if we could borrow the dress and do a special display.” And, of course she said yes.
MObama took to the stage almost a year ago in the daring ruby cross-halter, which was edgier than her first inauguration pick (also a Jason Wu creation). Now, museum visitors will get to see the second inaugural gown up close — definitely a reason to head to the American History museum. If only our closets warranted a borrow from the Smithsonian, right? (Huffington Post)
