Ready for a heavy dose of the creeps? Then prepare yourself for the full-length trailer for Lifetime's upcoming TV adaption of Flowers in the Attic, the 1979 cult novel by V.C. Andrews. The cinematic treatment stars a perfectly crazy-eyed Heather Graham, Mad Men scene-stealer Kiernan Shipka, and Ellen Burstyn as the terrifying grandmother.
Is it going to be weird to see little Sally Draper make out (and more) with her on-screen brother? Yes, of course. But, as The Huffington Post points out, incestuous pop-culture couples are something of a trend right now. Lifetime's take promises to be truer to the original story than the campy '80s film version, and it looks pretty dark, intense, and downright shocking.
