Consider all the things you could possibly DIY this weekend. That's probably quite a lot, right? Yes, Pinterest can be one overwhelming, relentless taskmistress. When you do make something, though, you want it to be worth your time and really, really cool. Thankfully, interior-design maven Emily Henderson (whose site we admittedly stalk) with her friend and DIY guru Stephanie Todaro posted the perfect project we'd never have considered ourselves: a copper-and-leather side table. And, one so chic it reminds us of an Alexander Wang handbag.

Contrary to popular thought, a trusty side stool is not a piece you can only buy at IKEA or CB2. In fact, we loved their easy, step-by-step tutorial, and it's definitely inspired us to head to Home Depot this weekend ourselves. If only the home-improvement store also carried cute black kittens, too.
