Lorde Spills Her Hair Secrets...Sort Of

In case you missed it, Lorde did a Reddit AMA (that's Ask Me Anything, for ye non-Redditors) over the weekend. There are quite a few things we'd like to ask Lorde, actually. For instance, how does it feel to be the world's most buzzed-about Kiwi at age 17? How did she get into Raymond Carver novels? And, um, how does she get her hair to be so pretty?

We know that those are not the deepest of inquiries, but hey, at least we're not alone. Among questions about her lyrics and tour plans: What shampoo do you use? Tossing punctuation to the wind in a run-on response, the singer answered: "My mum buys it in 2 litre bottles from the supermarket i don't even know."

Okay, so that's not the shout-it-from-the-rooftops beauty revelation we'd hoped for. Still, in typical Lorde fashion, it's honest. Plus, it's a reminder of the perks of being young: At the age of 17, it doesn't take much to look fresh in the first place. (Reddit)
