24-Karat-Gold Leggings That Reduce Cellulite? It's (Maybe) Possible

We've always thought of gold as having some kind of magical powers. Usually, the type that makes us ooh and ahh and brightens up any look with just a single piece of jewelry. But, that's not the promise bolstering these leggings. British company Proskins has created a pair of stretchy pants made of 24-karat gold that the company says have anti-aging properties.

According to its site, the gold in the fabric allows the body to produce more hyaluronic acid, which helps to moisturize the skin, making it look more youthful, and decreases the appearance of cellulite. And, while we might normally slip into a pair of leggings to break a sweat, if this pair is as great as Proskins claims, they require absolutely no effort at all for the wearer to achieve results. Of course, that's a pretty big IF. The gold leggings sell for $197.57, although they're unfortunately currently sold out, according to the brand's site. That's too bad.
