By now, most of us know the stereotype of a public-radio aficionado: She's probably carrying a pledge-drive tote bag, tuned into to Ira Glass, and covered from head to toe in "Morning Edition" tattoos. Right?
Okay, okay, so the typical NPR fan might not be completely inked up. But now she can be, thanks to a collection of NPR-centric temporary tattoos. Created by tattoo artists Alex McWatt, Andy Perez, and Claire Keane, the designs transform popular radio shows into classic ink. We're partial to the "This American Life" mermaid, but the roaring "All Things Considered" panther is pretty badass, too. (Oddly, we can imagine Terry Gross pulling off a permanent "Fresh Air" swallow.)

Sales will support NPR programming, and hey, there's always the option of transforming these into actual tattoos if you really, really love "On The Media." Just one minor problem: Why no love for "Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me"? C'mon, guys — if we can win Carl Kasell on our home answering machine, why can't we get his face on our biceps, too?
