There was Sexy, Sporty, Posh, Baby, and Scary, but if there was ever room for a sixth Spice Girl (with a time-traveling machine) called Twerky, we think we've found the girl. At the 102.7 KIIS-FM Jingle Ball show, Miley Cyrus showed up in an outfit that was the paragon of '90s red-carpet style. Wearing a sleek Calvin Klein gown and heels, she hit nearly all the past trends from point A to Zig-a-zig-ha. Count 'em — halter neck, cropped top, hip-hugger dress, an ankle-length skirt, strappy sandals, unnecessary laces…Calvin Klein. She's just missing the belly chain and tiny, rectangle sunglasses. Otherwise, this look could have come right out of a yearbook.
The rest of Cyrus' look was just as dramatically minimal. With a Tea Leoni-style '90s hair flip, red-rust lips, filed-to-a-point nails, and strong brows, Cyrus' beauty look was a throwback, too. The following evening, the pop star debuted a new bob haircut wig that would have taken this look to Mia Wallace levels of retro.
