Breaking news from across the pond: Kate Middleton has gone darker with her hair, sporting a new chocolatey shade in place of her former soft ombré color. The Duchess of Cambridge debuted the fresh hue at the SportsAid charity ball in London a few days ago, but because of our Tofurky-gobbling Thanksgiving festivities, we Americans didn't notice until just a moment ago. Gazing upon it now, we think this rich and shiny new look feels luxurious yet accessible. Sort of like the Duchess herself, eh?

Word on the street (and when it comes to the royals, we take all such reports with a pound of salt) is that London's posh Rossano Ferretti hair spa was behind this hair transformation. Not surprising that Kate is trying a new salon, since people are buzzing about her alleged displeasure with her former stylist's social-media promotion. We have to say, though: If our hair-coloring skills looked this lush and natural, we'd want to brag, too.
