Spring Breakers may have divided critics, but it just got a surprising endorsement from a Hollywood legend. John Waters placed the Harmony Korine's bloodstained teen shocker at the top of his list of the best movies of 2013. Not too shabby. The film beat out highly regarded flicks including Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine, the French biopic Camille Claudel 1915, and tragic killer whale documentary, Blackfish.
It's not so surprising that Waters would dig former Disney starlets Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens wearing bikinis while wielding bazookas. After all, this is the guy who made the 1974 gross-out classic Female Trouble. Click through to check out the full list.
