Ashlee Simpson Looked Bangin' At The Catching Fire Premiere

Catching Fire mania has been on overdrive the last few weeks, and the movie hasn't even come out yet. The Jennifer Lawrence fangirl chatter is turned way up, and the world's collective obsession with Katniss Everdeen is as crazy as ever. But, at last night's L.A. premiere of The Hunger Games' second installment, somebody else totally stole the spotlight. Ashlee Simpson rocked the red carpet looking absolutely fabulous, if we do say so ourselves.

She donned a black velvet strapless dress from Amanda Wakeley's resort '14 collection, complete with fringed details. She topped it all off with an Emm Kuo clutch, diamond earrings, and a head of huge curls. What can we say; you can take the girl out of Texas, but you can't take the Texas out of the girl. Of course, perhaps her, ahem, finest accessory was boyfriend Evan Ross. The two were ever the adorable couple with their matching black-on-black 'fits. Here's hoping Miss Simpson takes this look on the road.
