Okay, we know that the Angela Chase references are going to abound right about now, but rest assured, Claire Danes has not abandoned her blonde for that famous fire-engine shade of her youth. On the contrary, the actress arrived at The Late Show With David Letterman sporting a beautiful shade of strawberry blonde (or light copper, depending on how you see it).
Our thoughts? We love how this darker, warmer color really sets off Danes' lovely skin and makes her blue eyes pop. On the other hand, the pairing of the red hair with purply-blue eye makeup and a red outfit means that the overall look is, well, very colorful. While we're never ones to shy away from bold makeup, we do find ourselves wishing that Danes had opted for a more neutral wardrobe and makeup so that her beautiful new hair color could take center stage.
But, hey, we're not about to tell Carrie Mathison what to do. Can you imagine the chin-quiverage?
