Holiday Secret Weapon: These Liquid Metallic Eyeliners

We can probably all agree that black eyeliner is a year-round staple. But, we're now approaching that time of year when everyone turns up the sparkle — meaning that your go-to matte midnight hue may no longer cut it. I, however, have a hard time going entirely glittery. It just goes against my personality. That said, there's one shimmer product that I can't wait to rock this holiday season: Jouer's Liquid Shimmer Eyeliner, which comes in just about the raddest metallic colors ever.

Metallic shimmer is always a stylish way to look festive without being cheesy, and it adds a nice touch of "rebel girl" to any outfit. I also love the idea of doing a cat-eye in surprising colors, and these little guys make it easy. The brush is exactly what a liquid-liner brush should be — skinny but thick enough to make a statement line, and super-flexible. Plus, since the tube is so tiny, you can really get a good grip on it.

And, the colors? Between Lynx, a golden olive; Leopard, a bronze/brown; and Panther, which looks like a shimmery gunmetal, the hardest part is choosing just one. The hues are gorgeous with just mascara, but if you're feeling brave, they look extra fantastic with a subtle shimmer shadow. Also worth nothing: This stuff lasts all day like nobody's business.
