Rebecca Romijn Cuts Her Hair, Kills It

Is it just us, or is Rebecca Romijn getting more stunning over time? Case in point: Her new bobbed 'do, which she debuted at the recent Baby2Baby Gala in Los Angeles, is so fresh and chic. Sure, her former long waves had that Cali-girl glam going on, and suited her — but we think this cropped cut takes her to a whole new level of coolness. The middle part, the hint of a wave, the face-flattering layers...it all adds up to a major win in our book.

And, if that weren't eye-catching enough, she's breaking all the usual rules with makeup, too. On paper, matching your lipstick to your jumpsuit and working violet eyeshadow seems like a recipe for '80s-pastiche disaster. In reality though, we're not-so-secretly filing it away in our "Awesome Looks For Holiday Parties" folder. Yes, it helps that Romijn is a former model with considerable genetic gifts — but, c'mon, if this doesn't inspire you to take a few beauty risks, we don't know what will. Mystique, indeed.
