Nothing strikes fear into the heart of this writer more than the question, "Have you done all your Christmas shopping yet?" Yikes! For those of us who haven't given it a second thought, we can breathe a huge sigh of relief. Topshop is joining forces with Pinterest to simplify your life this holiday season.
The beloved High Street store has teamed up with Pinterest for its holiday campaign, "Dear Topshop," which will run across all of the brand's platforms: brick and mortar shops, online, editorial, and social media. The stores' gift offerings will be available online in carefully curated selections with witty names like, "A Gift That Will Wow" or "Someone Who Loves Sparkle." Have you fallen in love with that special something and want to tell everyone about it? Every single item is Pinnable and sharable on any other type of social media channel you care to mention. And, Topshop will be showcasing the most pinned gift items on its homepage every single day.
Pinterest is also hosting a competition for the best holiday-inspired boards. The amazing prizes include the chance to design your very own dream dress, tickets to the Topshop Unique runway show, and invitations to the launch of the much-anticipated Kate Moss for Topshop collection. Now, that is what we call a shopping incentive. (WWD)
